Andrea Walton, president of the General Insurance Association of Barbados, is advising all policyholders of Equity Insurance Company Ltd to take immediate steps to secure alternative insurance coverage.
Ms Walton says what this means for policyholders is that claims may not be paid even if policies are fully paid up.
